Famille Grossot
Domaine Grossot is situated in the village of Fleys, a few kilometres to the east of Chablis. This 18-hectare estate is currently run by the energetic and thoughtful Eve Grossot, the fourth generation of the family to make wine. Eve began the conversion to organic viticulture in 2012, and there is a clear focus on sustainability. The winery buildings are heated by old vine trunks, for example. All the domaine’s vineyards are on the right bank of the Serein. The two village wines, along with the Fourchaume and Vaucoupin, are made entirely in tank; the Fourneaux and Mont de Milieu see a percentage of oak.
