Description

Fourneaux is a small, steeply sloping Premier Cru in the Grossots’ home village of Fleys. One-third of this wine spends nine months in barrel before being blended into tank with the rest. Fourneaux is quite a warm site, though one of the parcels faces east and brings freshness. The result is a seductive, silken wine with a rounded mid-palate and an elegant finish with crushed oyster shell and iodine notes.
