Description
This is the most powerful and complex of Grossot’s wines, an honorary Grand Cru in a sense. It’s fermented entirely in tank, then half of the wine spends nine months in barrel before everything goes into tank again for the second winter. It expresses the typical power and generosity of the site, some yellow and white fruit, plenty of textural complexity and a fine mineral core. It will take a little time to blossom, but there is huge potential here.
