Founded in 1932, Taittinger has remained under family stewardship for generations, a rarity in today’s Champagne landscape. This independence allows the house to preserve its distinctive character and uphold a philosophy centred on Chardonnay - a grape that lends purity, freshness, and longevity to its wines.
Taittinger’s hallmark is refinement. Its Non-Vintage Brut Réserve is a benchmark expression, blending Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier into a wine of poise and approachability. Vintage releases, meanwhile, showcase greater complexity and structure, rewarding those who seek depth and nuance.
Comtes de Champagne was first created in 1952 and is the house’s flagship cuvée and one of the world’s most revered Blanc de Blancs. Made exclusively from Chardonnay grown in six Grand Cru vineyards of the Côte des Blancs, it is a remarkable, precise, and long-lived wine. Rich, creamy, and finely aromatic, it demands patience - best enjoyed only after a decade or more of cellaring, when its full complexity is revealed.
