One of Napa’s oldest estates

Established in 1889, Mayacamas is one of Napa’s oldest wineries, steeped in history and tradition. Over the decades, the estate has seen several owners, each contributing to its legacy. In 2013, Charles and Ali Banks took the helm, embarking on a thoughtful restoration of the vineyard and winery, while preserving its historic charm and commitment to quality.

Traditional winemaking with a long view

Mayacamas is best known for its age-worthy Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, crafted using low-intervention, classical techniques. Fermentations are slow and natural; élevage happens in large, neutral oak casks. The resulting wines are structured, elegant, and built to evolve gracefully for decades — a true reflection of their mountain origins.
