The King’s Penicillin is a warming, suave cocktail perfect for a crisp winter evening. Inspired by the soothing properties of honey and lemon, it combines the bold, spiced warmth of The King’s Ginger with the rich depth of our Speyside Sherry Cask 12-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Brightened with fresh lemon juice and sweetened with honey syrup, it’s an ideal cocktail to sip and savour all night long.

This case contains:

1 x 50cl The King's Ginger Liqueur (29.9%)
1 x 75cl Berry Bros. & Rudd Speyside Sherry Cask, 12-Year-Old, Single Malt Scotch Whisky (45.3%)

Ingredients

30ml The King's Ginger Liqueur 

30ml Berry Bros. & Rudd Speyside Sherry Cask, 12-Year-Old, Single Malt Scotch Whisky

25ml fresh lemon juice

10ml honey syrup (equal parts honey and water)

Ice

Recommended Glassware

Lowball/rocks glass

Method

1. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.

2. Shake thoroughly to blend the flavours.

3. Strain into a lowball/rocks glass filled with fresh ice.

4. Garnish with a piece of crystallised ginger for a sweet and spicy finish.
