The 2023 Riesling Réserve was made from 40-50-year-old vines mostly in Ribeauvillé and Bergheim, including Grand Cru Altenberg de Bergheim. This golden-hued wine has a shimmer of chamomile on its tender, bright and fresh apple-tinged nose. The palate shoots like an arrow of freshness, sleek and slender but with killer instinct. Ripeness and juiciness are united here in their one intention of refreshment. Dryness and a lovely zesty texture ring long after the finish. (Bone-dry)
