Description

The Capela do Vesuvio is an outstanding expression of a few of the finest vineyards at the breath-taking Quinta do Vesúvio, only made in tiny quantities and in years that deliver extraordinary quality. The bouquet is immensely complex exuding notes of lavender, a medley of dark fruits, cedar and peppery spice. The palate is voluminous with an incredibly powerful structure, featuring deep layers of complex dark fruits, alongside hints of dark chocolate and tobacco leading onto an incredibly persistent finish. This is a truly special port which will certainly reward patience in the cellar.
