Description
Larmes de Grappe stands out within the range as a wine with a different soul. 100% whole bunch with some stalks give this wine a more subtle and savoury character. It still has the red berry character, but as the wine builds it showcases the best of the savoury side of pinot noir. Freshly turned earth, autumnal forest floor and cured meats. Seriously complex, this is definitely a wine that will need 3-5 years before drinking but will outlast all its peers.

The 2022 Pinot Noir Larmes des Grappes, 100% Sanford & Benedict done with 100% whole clusters in 100% new oak for two years, is another stemmy, earthy wine that wanders into the vegetal, exuberantly floral end of the spectrum. This wine always shows a savory bent, but the 2022 seems as if it may have seen some challenges in ripening, as seen in its slightly edgy contours. It's tough to see where this is going from here.
