What I love about the 2020 Cuvée 7 Pinot Noir from Trimbach is its focused, graceful expression of Alsace Pinot Noir. Aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and wild strawberry gently unfold alongside hints of forest floor and spice. On the palate, vibrant red fruit is balanced by crisp acidity and silky tannins, with a subtle mineral thread adding depth. The finish is long and refined, leaving a delicate echo of fresh fruit and earthiness.This wine beautifully captures Pinot Noir’s purity and finesse, embodying Trimbach’s signature precision and elegance.

Very fragrant and enticing, this is a concentrated and elegant pinot noir with great focus and clarity. Aromas of sour cherries, violets and subtle spice cascade over the palate. Still very young, but already a shining star at the very long, clean finish. Drinkable now, but best from 2024.
