Tasting note

I found the 2019 Cuvée des Seigneurs de Ribeaupierre to be a beautifully poised expression of Gewurztraminer—lifted and fragrant right from the first swirl. It opens with classic notes of lychee, rose petal, and candied citrus, touched by a subtle hint of crushed stone that adds elegance and depth. On the palate, it’s generous yet refined, with tropical fruit richness perfectly counterbalanced by bright acidity and a graceful mineral thread. The finish is long, dry, and gently spiced—showcasing all the aromatic charm of Gewurztraminer, but with the restraint and finesse that only Trimbach can deliver.
