The 2017 Gewurztraminer Vendange Tardive was picked in the Sporen Grand Cru. Clear blossom honey, candied orange and mandarin peel are the first aromas to reach the nose. A hint of rose oil is a close second, while a touch of honeysuckle hovers seductively. The palate is rounded and sweet, like exquisitely defined candied citrus fruit. It's a compact, delicious dollop of sweetness, like candied mandarin peel and flesh perfumed by rose oil. The 2017 boasts 93.7 g/L of residual sugar. (Sweet)
