Description
The Historical XIXth Century Wine Lot 20.21 release is a blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, and a reintroduction of 45% Merlot, from plots within the Château Palmer estate to which around 10% Syrah from the northern Rhône is added. The wine is aged for 22 months in wooden barrels, of which 50% being new oak. The label legally cannot state a vintage as a vin de table, so instead they rely on the microscopic font on the front label and in the case of Lot 20.21. This is a rare and special wine that is made with the same expert care and attention the Grand vin sees and production is tiny.
