Les Bressandes

Corton Bressandes is a Grand Cru vineyard located in the Côte de Beaune sub-region of Burgundy. It is situated on the Corton hill, the only Grand Cru vineyard in Burgundy that produces both red and white wines. The Corton hill is divided into several Grand Cru vineyards, including Corton Bressandes, Corton-Charlemagne, and Corton Clos du Roi. The wines from Corton Bressandes are typically full-bodied and rich, with flavours of dark fruit, spice, and earth. They have a firm tannic structure and a long, lingering finish. The soil is rich in limestone and clay, which imparts a unique minerality and structure to the wines. The reds are known for their ageing potential, and they can develop complex flavours and aromas with age. The whites are also highly regarded, with flavours of citrus, stone fruit, and minerality. They are typically aged in oak barrels, which adds richness and complexity to the wines.
