Master of Wine Mixed Case, Barbara's Red Wine Selection, Six-Bottle Mixed Case

When thinking about red wines, it’s easy to fall into the trap of picking old favourites like Bordeaux, Burgundy and the Rhône. These wines can be delicious, of course, but there is so much more out there to explore. That’s why our very own Barbara Drew MW has created this mixed case.

This selection includes a couple of under-the-radar French beauties and a pair of classic Italian and Spanish wines. Further afield, there’s a beautiful California Pinot Noir made in a restrained style, and one of Barbara's favourite red grapes – Cabernet Franc – from old vines in South Africa. These may not be styles you’ve tried before, but they are excellent alternatives.
