Description

This comes from a 0.7-hectare east-facing block in Castiglione, with 25-30 year old vines. In fact, this now has approval for Barolo, if Annalisa chose to action it. The wine had 15 days on skins and then was aged for a year in a 25-hectolitre Stockinger botte. The wine has a brilliant tension between sweet and sour, of creamy ripe Nebbiolo and refreshing, uplifting tannins.
