Description

This is an interesting site on the Brochon side of Gevrey, facing east and adjoining Cazetiers. This wine comes from purchased fruit, sourced from the top of the slope. They made three barrels and used 50% whole bunches. This is powerful and concentrated, with black and red cherry fruit and something savoury on the nose. It has some weight and grip, but there is a pleasing herbal lift and a long, refreshing finish.
