Description

This comes from the vineyards of Les Pas de Chats, Les Athets and Les Fouchères, planted over 70 years ago. The nose is typically floral and delicate, in contrast to the more rugged Gevrey-Chambertin wines in this cellar. The fruit is sweet, juicy and pretty, supported neatly by 30% new oak, which brings some sweet spice. The finish has a touch of Gevrey-like structure.
