Description

Bastien owns a 0.25-hectare plot of Les Goudelettes, which is situated on a plateau. The altitude and windy north-east aspect help keep the fruit healthy and the alcohol levels sensible. These vines are relatively old, having been planted in 1969. The nose is elegant, with notes of bramble and creamy strawberry. The tannins are very well integrated on the palate, which is dominated by bright, crunchy and sweet strawberry and raspberry fruit. A lovely saline finish gives plenty of freshness.
