Description

From vines on deeper soils in Meursault, aged between 17-65 years old, this is all aged in 500- and 600-litre foudres. The cool clay soils are a benefit in warmer vintages, slowly ripening and keeping a sense of freshness. This has pleasing weight of white stone fruit, neatly kept in check by a crisp and saline freshness.

Pale lemon, fresh fruit bouquet, plenty of flesh but with a balanced crispness behind, very good length. Softer finish in 2023 than would have been the case usually in the past, so ready earlier.
