Description
The only white in the vini di Contrada range, the Santa Margherita is made from the Grillo grape variety, planted on clay, limestone and sand at 490 metres above sea level The wine is fermented in 2500L oval Austrian barrels and matured for 10 months in a mixture of those barrels and concrete tanks. This yields a complex, aromatic and saline wine.
