Description

Blend: 32% Sauvignon Blanc; 23% Chardonnay; 23% Gros Manseng; 22% Viognier.

This was the earliest white harvest on record here. This is a rather atypical blend for a white Bordeaux, the château calling it “the white that breaks all the rules”. The nose is delicate and floral with notes of citrus blossom and lemon peel. The palate has a pleasant weight to it, building from citrus into more fleshy flavours of white peach and nectarine. This is balanced nicely by a refreshing and tangy acidity.
