Description

This holding came to the estate via Marc-Olivier’s mother’s side. It sits on the western edge of the road between Beaune and Savigny, on sandy soil that gets sandier the lower down the slope it sits. The wine shows some spicy dark fruit and intense red cherries. In the mouth it is refreshing and spicy with a pleasant tang and a long finish.

Jasper Morris MW 90-91/100

A rich deep purple with crimson rim. Very concentrated deep red berry fruit on the nose. The structure is relatively unrefined but that won’t matter with time because it will be swamped by the high-quality fruit. Very promising. Long and even quite charming.
