Description

This comes from a steep, north-facing vineyard on the north side of the A6 motorway. It is a very dry site that can sometimes suffer in dry years, but there was just enough water at the right time in 2023. Well-structured if not quite as complex as the Vergelesses, this has a very engaging perfume; there is almost a whiff of New Zealand Pinot Noir about it. It was aged entirely in 228-litre barrels (up to five years old).
