Description

This wine comes from a north-facing 1.5-hectare plot at 250 metres’ altitude. The 2023 is almost certainly the best iteration of this wine (an assessment shared by Jean-Philippe). Eighty percent is made in tank to preserve the natural freshness, with 20% in barrel to add some roundness. There is plenty of fresh orchard fruit, a little cream and a crisp freshness. The finish is really striking; it has bristling energy and a spark that puts many more expensive wines to shame this year.
