Description

Les Chalandins is on the Vougeot side of Vosne-Romanée, at the base of the slope just above the main D974 road. It is one of the biggest village-level vineyards in Vosne. This plot is on deep limestone soil. The nose is a little closed at present, but shows hints of spice, violets and strawberries. This is an elegant Vosne with medium weight, ripe, gentle tannins and a long, very fine, finish.
