Description

Bitouzet-Prieur’s holding covers just 0.2 hectares, in two parcels which straddle the vineyard road between Charmes-Dessus and Charmes-Dessous. Vibrant and fragrant, this Meursault has great freshness with a light, creamy feel. The palate has notes of stone fruit and citrus along with beautifully integrated acidity. This is one for Meursault fans.

Jasper Morris MW 90-93/100

An even mid lemon yellow. The bouquet suggests a robust wine to follow, though less fruit up front. At the moment the bouquet has a temporary suggestion of something slightly rubbery which will come out with fining. Plenty going on, good structure, just the detail to refine.
