Located in the southern part of the Côte de Beaune, the village of Puligny-Montrachet itself forms a section of the renowned Côte d’Or. While the village produces a small quantity of red wine, its acclaim primarily rests on its age-worthy white wines, and this bottle is a prime example. It is crafted for us by Jean-Louis Chavy, whose family has a long-standing history in the region. Moreover, the bottle is capsule-free, which helps to reduce packaging waste.

Tasting note

This charming and open expression of Puligny-Montrachet comes from Jean-Louis Chavy. It is a blend of his 10 different parcels across the village, fermented and aged mostly in larger 350-litre barrels which preserve freshness and give a subtle oak character.

Lifted and ethereal on the nose, the wine unfolds beautifully on the palate: stone fruit, citrus and white flowers are complemented with gentle spice and a saline finish.
