Description

The Merlins have 0.95 hectares of La Rochelle, which they acquired in 2006. It is planted at high density and ploughed by horse. This is expressive and powerful with spicy black cherries and liquorice notes. There is density here, but there is also finesse and freshness; the wine is complex and delicious. Olivier is very proud of this wine and its capacity to age.
