Description

While Pouilly-Fuissé prices have begun to rise, St Véran remains reassuringly accessible, and this is an excellent example for those who enjoy mineral-focused wines. Half of the fruit comes from the warm, south-facing La Crouze vineyard and half from two cooler plots in Prissé, which is east. The two combine seamlessly to give a wonderful mix of generous fruit and lively acidity, rounded out by subtle toasty oak on the finish. With 13% alcohol and a sophisticated mineral reduction, this should age well.
