Tense and fresh, this has notes of citrus and stone fruits as well as hints of savory herbs and flinty mineral nuances. Medium-bodied, vivid and crisp with a firm, tannic backbone. Refreshing finish. Viosinho, rabigato, arinto and codega. Drink now.

Viosinho (50%), Rabigato (25%), Arinto (15%) and Códega do Larinho (10%). The wine was fermented in small stainless-steel vats, with some lots barrel-aged in used French oak for 6 months. Bottled in June 2023. TA 5.3 g/l, pH 3.2. Fresh citrus and pears with an attractive stony/dusty freshness and no impression of the oak. A very subtle floral note of white blossom. On the palate, crisp but rounded out by the gently creamy texture. Pure, cool and mouth-watering with a slight chalkiness on the finish. All the attributes of a youthful, lively Douro white, ready now but no rush.
