Description
An east-facing vineyard, Le Charmois sits exactly on the border with the Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru of Les Chaumées. The Bachelets have 0.94 hectares on shallow soil and brown clay over limestone. The cooler aspect delivers much more tension to the wine, which is more focused than the Champlots and has a deeper mineral spice. The bouquet intrigues with notes of honeysuckle and acacia.
