Description

Half of the blend comes from the La Serra cru and, as with the Dolcetto, it is increasingly rare to find anything but Nebbiolo in these top sites. The balance is from Neviglie, where sandy soils give the wine a perfumed lift. A small part of the wine is used to help break in the newer Pauschka barrels, and these add a sweeter blackberry note to a luscious style that has an immediate succulence.
