Description

Jean-Philippe has two plots in this vineyard, which follows the same contours as the best Premiers Crus but faces east. These are old vines, with the oldest planted in 1930. The soil is red clay over limestone bedrock. As ever, this is a wine of elegance and sophistication, with lime blossom, white flowers and a tingling freshness.

Pale lemon in colour, white fruit with a light toast on the nose. A ripe lemon thread through the middle, softer at the finish than a classical Fichet Chevalières, but still a delicious wine.
