Description

There is a similar fruit profile to Grivot’s Roncière, with perhaps more plum and certainly more finesse. There are silky tannins, refined and velvety, and with bags of energy across the palate. The finish is long and saline. This is an exceptional, elegant Nuits.

More crimson than ruby. There is quite some generosity of plump ripe fruit on the nose. There are different layers here, a softer strawberry on top of a more concentrated core of dark raspberry. A very light trace of the salinity found elsewhere. Full bodied enough to be very satisfying.
