Description

One of the finest Premiers Crus in Nuits-St Georges, Les Boudots sits just below Vosne-Romanée’s famed Malconsorts. This has notes of dark, wild berries and earth. There is a lovely succulence to the palate, with good freshness, silky tannins and dark, juicy fruit. This is a supremely elegant Nuits with a nod to Vosne in its velvety mouthfeel and wondrous purity. It has a juicy, saline finish.

Jasper Morris MW 91-94/100
A fullish strawberry red to crimson. A complex nose, slightly higher pH in style, not one of the densest and most robust Boudots. However, there is a very considerable volume of fruit which builds on the palate, and starts to bring darker fruit notes at the back, along with good acidity. A saline touch too.
