Description
Red Meursault was historically a somewhat rustic affair. But global warming, along with some smart winemaking on Fabien’s part, has delivered an approachable and crunchy wine with pleasing weight of fruit. The fruit is de-stemmed, followed by a very gentle extraction. Ageing takes place in 500-litre barrels. There’s bright red fruit here with brisk, refreshing acidity and a spicy, chalky finish.
