Description

There are just three barrels of this pure, creamy wine. It is made from purchased grapes from 60-year-old vines on chalky soil, situated just below the Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru. The wine is graceful and svelte, and Mathias has smoothed out the edges with great success. There’s a bit more going on at the finish than the first impressions would suggest.

Mid crimson. The bouquet is really delightful, lifted raspberries with a strawberry note too. This has been very well done. Just a little firmer behind. A very good example.
