Description

Owner Frédéric Jametton only uses a horse to work this vineyard, and the grapes are 100% de-stemmed. The nose exhibits succulent aromas of roses and bright strawberry, almost like Pinot Noir. This has great tension on the palate, coupled with a lovely salinity and velvety tannic structure. This is utterly delicious.

The 2022 Moulin-à-Vent Les Verillats has an attractive nose: dark berry fruit, touches of rooibos and earthy scents. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-boned tannins, harmonious with a very controlled, tender, classically styled finish. This is a classy offering. Quite simply, delicious!

What a great Moulin-a-Vent. Magnificent nose of forest berries and red roses. Stacks of fine tannins are wrapped in concentrated berry fruit on the medium- to full-bodied palate, everything underlined by a fantastic mineral acidity at the intense yet astonishingly graceful finish. Sustainable. Drink or hold.
