Description

This vineyard was previously planted with Pinot Noir but recently replaced with Chardonnay. The 2022 vintage is its first as a white. The site is southwest facing, with a sunny aspect but with just 30cm topsoil before the limestone mother rock. There is plenty of grip and tension in this wine which is impressive for such young vines.

0.5 ha (1.2 acres), planted in 2020, previously to Pinot Noir. Mid-pale lemon. Lots of citrus. Fresh, mineral, linear. Almost austere at this point.
