The plant selections here tend to produce a pale wine with a light touch, and 2022 is no exception. Around half of the fruit was vinified as whole bunches, emphasising the crushed strawberry character. The palate is richer than the nose would suggest, offering up an explosion of tiny red berries that culminates in a fine, saline, and peppery finish.

A plot of 0.43 purchased in 2018. Three planting dates, 40-50-60 year old vines with quite a lot replaced. Pale red with a light rim. Lacks a bit of stuffing. It has a pleasant red fruit nose but is a little lacking in depth for 1er Cru. Arthur is working on this to restrict the volume but it will take time.
