This is the final vintage of this wine as, sadly, Thibault no longer has the contract to purchase the fruit. The vineyard is at the Brochon end of Gevrey, often regarded for high-quality, mineral expressions. There is no whole-bunch here because of the high limestone content. This is incredibly pure wine with creamy, red fruit and a bright, chalky freshness.

The last vintage of this vineyard. All destemmed being on a limestone soil, and partly touched by the hail. Similar colour, slightly more sombre nose, then fleshes out quite well. A good generosity of fruit even though slightly less ripe than the other. Finishes well.
