Description

From vines mostly on clay soils, aged between 16 and 60 years old, this is all aged in 500- and 600-litre foudres. Jean-Philippe is very pleased with the progress of this cuvée and its increase in quality over recent years. The cold clay soils, previously a disadvantage, are now a positive benefit. A neat and well-textured wine.

Jasper Morris MW 87-89/100

Pale colour with a lime tint. Generous but attractive. Excellent mid palate intensity with lemon notes to finish, not more ample than the regular but there is still a touch more class to the fruit.
