Description
This comes from a 2.2-hectare vineyard up in the hills around Arcenant. The altitude and limestone-rich soils always give plenty of freshness to the wine. There is lots of interest on the palate: floral and citrus notes abound, along with a note of cornmeal typical of this style of unoaked Chardonnay.

An exuberantly fresh, citrus-infused, and pure nose of Granny Smith apple and spice wisps introduces racy, stony, and utterly delicious flavours that are supported by bright but not drying acidity on the chiselled, youthfully austere, and sneaky long finish. This is lovely for its level, plus it has the potential to repay 2 to 3 years of keeping. It is a quality Bourgogne.
