Tasting note

Mirum is sourced from a small 3ha parcel of old vines within La Monacesca’s holdings, high up in the Apennines. The winemaking here is confidently stripped back, with nothing but the gleaming quality of fruit and rich terroir on show.

The 2022 is so expressive, with notes of soft, salty almond, lemon oil and fresh apple all supported by its refreshingly crisp acidity. Always delicious straight out of the starting gates, but very capable of ageing for 10+ years.
