While there is some of the structure here associated with Pommard, La Chanière is almost reminiscent of a Volnay with its elegance and freshness. The fruit is bright and moves from red to blue with violets and crushed stones.

Jasper Morris MW 91-93/100

Frosted last year, two barrels this time. A pretty, vivid pink ruby colour. Some energy to the nose, quite intense. Darker fruit throughout, with some iron rich notes and slightly more tannic but covered by the fruit. Quite complete.
