Description
This is made from two-thirds Chardonnay and one-third Pinot Blanc. The vines are located behind Jean-Pierre’s house, to the eastern side of the railway. Rich peach and English pear combine beautifully with a salinity that nicely builds on the finish. There is 50% new oak this year, but it is perfectly in tune and you don’t feel it.

Critics reviews
50% new wood, on its finings at the moment. Mid to full lemon yellow. The bouquet is more in fruit than oak though, but the palate gets an extra weight which suggests warmth. This should gain in tension, which it needs as a little heavy at the moment.
Drink 2024 - 2026
The blend has about 1/3 pinot blanc in it.
Subtle but easily perceptible wood influence is present in the ripe and fresh aromas of mostly apple, citrus rind and petrol. There is good volume and richness to the reasonably vibrant flavours that exhibit acceptable depth and persistence on the mildly rustic finish.
