Description

There is a seam of unbroken limestone that runs through the higher part of this vineyard, doubtless the origin for its name. With 0.70 hectares, François has almost half the vineyard, and there is a fresh mineral edge and some sophistication to the wine that can accommodate 20% new oak, albeit all the wine is aged in 450-litre demi-muids. Drink 2026-2035.
