Description

Jean-Pierre owns 0.23 hectares here, bordering Vosne – perhaps explaining the floral notes often found in this cuvée. There is a lot of finesse and elegance this year, with nice concentration and fine, chalky tannins giving promising structure. The vines are up to 70 years old.

A softly wooded and exuberantly floral-suffused nose freely reveals its spicy and ripe red berry and plum scents. The rich, delicious, plush, medium-bodied flavours display good power on the lingering and slightly warm finale if not the same vibrancy.
