Description
La Charmotte is situated below Premier Cru Aux Bousselots. The topsoil is only 40cm deep before you hit a band of red clay, which sits on top of the limestone mother rock. This has 30% whole-bunches and a charming, sweet, silky fruit character. With melting tannins, it is a real star of the cellar this year.

Critics reviews
40% whole bunch vinification. The lowest degree in alcohol. A good purple colour, but a nose which clearly gives less. There is a fine deep raspberry fruit which absolutely fills the palate, then a fresher finish, after which the fruit returns. Very successful. Tannins on their way to full resolution.
